M’cube is a program to discover and support young artists who explore experimental territories with a passion for novelty and challenge their limits.
ABOUT
영화 아트디렉터, 무대미술 등을 했으며 현재 회화와 설치작업을 하고 있다. 2017년부터 현재 <동시상영同時上映>프로젝트를 진행하며 서울 청계천 바다극장, 인천 미림극장, 일본 요코하마 잭앤베티극장에서 전시 및 워크샵을 진행했다. 극장의 역사와 같이 스크린이 이동했듯, 이미지의 원형의 행로를 발견하는 작업이다. 최근 그 행로는 해항도시로 가고 있으며 그 곳의 근대건축물, 모뉴먼트, 설화 등을 수집하고 있다. 또한 그 수집된 이미지들이 장소, 이데올로기, 시대에 따라 어떻게 번안되고 사라지고 있는지 추적한다.

Rhaomi
I did movie art director, stage art, etc. and I am currently working on painting and installation. Since 2017, <同時上映Simultaneous screens> project had the exhibition and workshop at the sea theater of Cheonggyecheon in Seoul, Mirim theater in Incheon, and Jack&Betty theater in Yokohama, Japan. Just like the history of the theater, the screen has moved, it is the route of finding the circular path of the image. Recently, the route has been going to the sea port city and collecting monument, modern architecture, statue, and tales. It also tracks how the collected images are adapted and disappearing according to place, ideology and times.
