  • 만욱은 각기 다른 존재들의 공존에 대해 이야기한다.
    만욱의 그림에는 ‘개(동물), 걔(인간), 계(기계)’가 등장하는데, 각각의 대상들이 서로 간의 우위 없이 수평적인 관계를 이룬다. 인간과 비인간 간의 경계를 지움으로써 따뜻하면서도 유쾌한 관계성을 보여주는 만욱은 ‘함께 살기’라는 키워드를 밝고 쨍한 형광으로 자유로이 표현한다.

    Manwook explores the coexistence of different beings. In her paintings, ‘gae(dog), gyae(human), and gye (machine)’ appear, each of which forms a horizontal relationship with no hierarchy between them. By blurring the boundaries between humans and non-humans, she presents a warm and delightful relationship and freely expresses the keyword "living together" in bright, vibrant fluorescent colors.
