2024 키아프 갤러리밈 부스를 통해 선보였던 정정엽 작가의 대형 작품 〈싹 7〉이 현재 국립현대미술관 청주관에서 전시 중입니다.
정정엽 작가는 1980년대부터 활동을 이어오며 한국 현대미술의 발전에 중요한 역할을 해온 작가입니다. 조용한 힘과 깊이 있는 시각 언어로 잘 알려져 있습니다.
〈싹 7〉은 작가가 지속적으로 탐구해온 생명력, 회복력, 그리고 변화의 움직임을 담고 있습니다.

Jung Jungyeob’s large-scale work, “Sprout 7,” which was presented at our booth during KIAF 2024, is currently on view at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Cheongju.
Since the 1980s, Jung has played a significant role in the development of contemporary Korean art. Her work is known for its quiet strength and enduring visual language.
“Sprout 7” reflects her continued exploration of growth, resilience, and transformation.
